About the position
The Medical Affairs, Medical Communications Intern at Exact Sciences will work with the Screening Medical Communications Team, providing a full-time summer opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students in relevant fields. The role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in medical communications, contributing to various projects, and supporting the company's mission to improve cancer prevention and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the update and maintenance of Scientific Communication Platforms.
- Support the Scientific Narrative Action Plan (SNAP) workgroup by summarizing evidence for discussions.
- Research and evaluate the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program to enhance content and execution.
- Cull evidence from previous grants and assess overall impact of the CME Program.
- Contribute to developing CME engagement strategy.
- Provide support for MLR submission of medical communication collateral.
- Assist in the creative design and development of new resources.
- Identify, complete, and present an Experiential Project at the end of the internship.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in biological sciences, biotechnology, health sciences, or a medical field.
- Ability to work designated schedule.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with medical communications or related fields.
- Familiarity with scientific research and evidence evaluation.
