About the position

The Medical Assistant - Cardiology position is a full-time role responsible for providing high-quality and continuous primary medical care services. The role involves performing both front and back office clinical functions under the supervision of the practice administrator, ensuring effective patient care and clinic workflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform front and back office clinical functions in a health clinic setting.
• Ensure high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services.
• Engage with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up.
• Retrieve, scan, and file clinical encounter forms and reports for clinic staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• At least six (6) months of previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience.
• Currently Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed.
