About the position

The Medical Assistant provides and coordinates medical care in an outpatient setting following a patient-centered, primary care model including the following tasks: Completes patient rooming process, completes patient testing and procedures following provider orders/standing orders, performs desktop management and computer tasks, performs immunizations and injections, performs general clinical operation duties, precepts new employees and coaches MA Apprentices, and orders supplies, medications, and vaccines.

  • Performs desktop management and computer tasks.
  • Performs immunizations and injections.
  • Performs general clinical operation duties.
  • Precepts new employees and coaches MA Apprentices.
  • Orders supplies, medications, and vaccines.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Medical Assistant-Certified License from the WA State Department of Health.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two years of Medical Assisting experience.
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic serving all ages, including providing immunizations.
  • A strong interest in working with a diverse patient population.
