Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and six months experience as a medical assistant.
- Completion of a medical assistant, emergency medical technician, nurse assistant, licensed practical nurse, or armed services medic program.
Nice-to-haves
- Certified Medical Assistant certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- One year of experience working in a medical office with multiple providers.
- Previous experience in a medical office of the same specialty.
- Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience.
