About the position

The Medical Assistant position at Concentra involves providing direct patient care and support in a clinical environment. Responsibilities

• Greet patients and obtain their medical histories.
• Verify patient information and prepare them for physical examinations.
• Take vital signs and perform required testing.
• Assist during examinations and treatment procedures.
• Perform ancillary testing and tasks as directed by the Center Medical Director, including PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, and blood draws.
• Conduct DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Cross-train to perform Front Office duties, including patient check-in/out and communication of wait times.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or military medical specialist with current credentials in the state of employment.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical office environment.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves
