Responsibilities
- Provide supportive patient care functions under supervision.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families.
- Administer injectables and perform high-level skills (for MA II/III).
- Complete the review/skill validation program within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- MA I: 1 year of directly related experience or successful completion of an externship.
- MA II: 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- MA III: 5 years of directly related experience with Certification/Registration or 6 years without.
- BLS certification through American Heart Association.
