About the position
The Medical Assistant Instructor position at Ross Education Holdings Inc. is a part-time role designed for experienced Medical Assistants who are interested in transitioning into teaching. Instructors will be responsible for delivering educational content in both clinical and administrative skills to students in a classroom setting. The role requires flexibility to teach during morning and evening sessions throughout the year, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
- Deliver lectures and demonstrations based on Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
- Adapt to teaching assistant and substitute roles as needed throughout the year.
- Engage with students to facilitate learning and provide support in their educational journey.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain a national certification as a medical assistant.
- Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Flexibility and a passion for learning and growth.
