About the position
The Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Float Clinic position at Ottumwa Regional Health Center involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a clinic setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting.
- Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs.
- Communicate with providers about changes in patient's condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.
- Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 5 years medical experience in a physician's office or equivalent in combination of training or experience preferred.
- Current BCLS certification.
