Reproductive Fertility Center is a leading infertility practice dedicated to helping people fulfill their dreams of family. Since 2005, our physicians, nurses, and staff at Reproductive Fertility Center (RFC) have worked together toward the common goal of helping our patients become parents. Our team consists of highly experienced professionals who work collectively to provide the highest quality treatment in a compassionate and caring atmosphere. We are currently looking for an exceptional candidate to join our work family as a Bilingual-Chinese Mandarin Medical Assistant, available for both full-time and part-time positions. As a Medical Assistant at RFC, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and abiding by all RFC policies and procedures, as well as our objectives. Your responsibilities will include receiving and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and obtaining necessary patient information. You will meet patients and act as an educator by providing test and treatment counseling, ensuring they understand what to expect throughout their fertility journey. You will also actively manage and direct the use of resources, routing patient questions, problems, complaints, and concerns to the appropriate personnel to achieve the highest quality outcomes and patient experiences. In this role, you will provide guidance to patients to ensure they receive the highest quality of care while maintaining an excellent rapport and relationship with them. Compassion and emotional support are key components of this position, as you will be counseling patients throughout their fertility journey. You will deliver the highest standard of patient service, ensuring a courteous and professional experience. Effective communication among all members of the healthcare team is essential to provide continuity of care. Additionally, you will coordinate with leadership and other departments to address patient feedback and resolve any questions they may have. You may also assist in other job responsibilities or duties as requested by your Supervisor or Employer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and abide by all RFC policies and procedures, and objectives.
- Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, and obtain necessary patient information.
- Meet patients and act as an educator by providing test/treatment counseling and expectations.
- Actively manage and direct the use of resources.
- Route patient questions, problems, complaints, and concerns to appropriate personnel to achieve the highest quality outcomes and patient experiences.
- Provide guidance to patients to ensure they receive the highest quality of care and maintain an excellent rapport/relationship with patients.
- Provide compassion and emotional support and counseling to patients throughout their fertility journey.
- Deliver the highest standard of patient service and a supremely courteous and professional experience.
- Effectively communicate amongst all members of the healthcare team to provide continuity of care.
- Coordinate with leadership and other departments to address patient feedback and resolve patient questions.
- Assist in other job responsibilities/duties requested by Supervisor and/or Employer.
Requirements
- An AA degree, nursing license (MA, LVN)
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office or related setting preferred
- Proficient in reading, typing, and conversing in Mandarin Chinese
- Great communication skills and ability to articulate care plans and discuss financials with patients
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple cases
- Must be a reliable person with proper attendance and punctuality
- Strong professional, personable, and caring attitude are required
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of daily work, recognizing that many confidential documents and conversations will need to be relayed.
Nice-to-haves

- Infertility experience is a plus!
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
