The Medical Assistant at AdventHealth Medical Group plays a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality medical care to patients. This position is designed for individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a supportive environment for patients. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include documenting patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, assisting with patient intake, and ensuring that all medical documentation is completed in a timely and thorough manner. The role requires a strong ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively under the guidance of the clinic physician and manager. In this float position, the Medical Assistant will work across various clinics located in Johnson, Miami, and Douglas counties, adapting to the needs of each clinic as required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The Medical Assistant will be expected to perform essential healthcare services, including administering immunizations, managing patient medications, and communicating electronically with patients as needed. This role is integral to the overall patient experience, ensuring that each individual feels valued and cared for in a holistic manner.
