About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our multi-specialty facility located in St. Clair Shores, MI. This full-time position involves working closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and Physician Assistants, to provide comprehensive patient care and support. The Healthcare Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care by assisting in various medical and administrative tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for taking patient histories and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. You will also maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and compliant with HIPAA regulations. Administrative tasks will include scheduling appointments, answering phones, and performing various diagnostic procedures, including X-rays and EKGs. Your ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team will be essential in creating a positive experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a healthcare setting and a solid understanding of medical terminology and procedures related to chiropractic care, massage therapy, physical therapy, and primary care. Flexibility in working hours is required, as you may need to work opening and closing shifts, including Saturdays.
