About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program as specified by the Medical Board of California or equivalent Sutter Health training.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification required.
• MA Certification by a California Medical Board recognized agency is required for incentive eligibility in 2025.
• 1 year of recent relevant experience in a medical setting.
• General knowledge of medical procedures, human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Competent in basic Medical Assisting skills such as taking vital signs and administering injections.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
