Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Manage phone calls and patient inquiries effectively.
• Administer medical questionnaires to patients prior to their appointments.
• Prepare patients for examinations, including taking medical histories and confirming medications.
• Assist doctors with procedures and ancillary diagnostic testing in the office.
• Welcome patients and manage checkout responsibilities.
• Schedule patient appointments and address insurance-related questions.
• Perform general office duties and provide support to the team.

Requirements

• Experience in Medical Assisting is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn EHR software.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in ophthalmic assisting is encouraged but not required.
