About the position
INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to join their Kidney Acquisition Living Donor team in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time position operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, focusing on providing exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities
- Gathers and documents information about patient condition, including lab values, pain levels, and nutritional status.
- Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients.
- Monitors and documents patient status.
- Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions.
- Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
- Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner.
- May retrieve and transport medications.
Requirements
- Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 months of clinic MA experience; OR the ability to successfully complete the INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP).
- 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
- CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
