Responsibilities

• Obtain vitals, hearing, and vision tests.
• Administer shots and take capillary blood samples.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests such as urine dipstick, cholesterol, and hemoglobin.
• Assist with answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Assist with scanning medical records.
• Prepare and clean examination rooms.
• Order and maintain medical supplies.

Requirements

• Experience as a medical assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with children and families.
• Ability to be patient, a good listener, and have a sense of humor.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliability and accuracy in performing tasks.
