As a Float Medical Assistant PRN at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients across various practices located in Johnson, Miami, and Douglas Counties. In this role, you will be expected to assist with screenings as per physician orders, ensuring that all information is accurately entered at the time of service. You may also assist with minor procedures associated with specialty care and will be required to travel to satellite offices as needed. The position demands the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, applying stress management techniques when necessary. You will utilize various medical equipment, including EKG machines, pulse oximeters, and glucose monitors, to provide the best care possible to our patients.
