Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• One year of related medical office experience or externship.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and EMR.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality and handle crisis situations.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire.
