About the position
The Medical Assistant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical staff within a medical clinic. This role acts as a liaison between the back office and other departments, mediating issues and ensuring effective communication among staff and physicians. The supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the clinical staff in the medical clinic.
- Act as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments.
- Mediate issues between back office staff and physicians.
- Ensure effective communication among team members and departments.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA) certification required.
- Two years of experience in a healthcare setting, including one year as a medical assistant.
- One year of leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
