Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians with patient care, including wound care.
- Communicating with patients in Spanish and translating for physicians.
- Rooming patients and recording vital signs.
- Prepping and cleaning exam rooms.
- Sterilizing equipment and managing supplies.
- Scheduling appointments and preparing charts.
- Triage phone calls and obtain medical reports.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Computer literacy.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Experience with Athena Software.
- Strong communication skills.
