Responsibilities

• Prep schedule for Monday-Friday
• Knowledge in filling out medical forms for patients
• Ordering medical supplies
• Ensure rooms are stocked and cleaned after every patient and at the end of clinic
• DME ordering
• Refill medications
• Check eye wash station weekly
• Help answer phone calls
• Prior authorization for medications
• Assist in distributing faxes
• Assist in sending out reports to referring providers/case managers
• Check emails daily
• Schedule appointments

Requirements

• Bilingual
• 3 years of experience with EMR systems
• 3 years of experience with vital signs
• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Medical Assistant
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of ICD coding

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Athena EMR
