About the position

As a Medical Assistant at Nao Medical, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare delivery through a blend of clinical and administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians in patient care, performing medical procedures, and managing front desk operations to enhance the overall efficiency and quality of care provided to patients. This position requires a commitment to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure timely and compassionate responses to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs and assist with medical procedures.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens for testing.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address their inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Manage front desk tasks including patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling as needed.
• Adhere to clinic rules, company policies, and brand standards to maintain compliance and professionalism.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver outstanding patient care.
• Engage in personal and professional growth by learning from teammates and management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Associate degree holder.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program (CMA/RMA) is preferred but not required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Phlebotomy, and EKG (Electrocardiogram).
• Proficient knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, anatomy, and basic clinical procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to various roles within the team.
