Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKG's, etc.
- Maintain a smooth patient flow and anticipate needs.
Requirements
- Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
- One year experience preferred.
- Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
- Knowledge of third party payors preferred.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program or a minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
- Medical Assistant Certification Preferred.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
