Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKG's, etc.
• Maintain a smooth patient flow and anticipate needs.

Requirements

• Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
• One year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
• Knowledge of third party payors preferred.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program or a minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
