About the position
The Medical Assistant position involves providing support to physicians and ensuring efficient patient care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities
- Administer injections and immunizations as required.
- Prepare and document patient electronic charts for appointments.
- Room patients and document vital signs, medications, and medical history.
- Follow through on physician orders related to patient care and education.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Requirements
- Current FL Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work directly with physicians and document orders accurately.
