About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our pain management practice in Hurst, TX. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clinic and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Responsibilities

• Manage front desk/receptionist duties such as calling/scheduling and confirming appointments and insurance with patients.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor patient responses.
• Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively for documentation and communication.
• Assist in coding and billing processes to ensure accurate patient billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

• Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in X-Ray procedures, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
• Knowledge of coding systems for medical billing is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is strongly preferred.
