This position involves maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting with patient care, and performing various clinical tasks under the supervision of a physician. The Medical Assistant will engage in patient education, triage, and record vital signs, ensuring a high standard of care and communication within the practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with daily operations of the office.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with patient care, including exams and procedures.
• Perform triage and record vitals of all visiting patients.
• Conduct EKG and phlebotomy procedures.
• Provide patient education under the direction of the physician.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a medical assistant (preferred).
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Strong computer literacy and mid-level computer skills.
• Ability to concentrate in a busy environment with multiple activities and interruptions.
• Effective communication skills with patients, physicians, and fellow employees.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience in a physician practice or other clinical setting.
• Experience with EMR - eClinical Works.
