About the position

The Medical Assistant position at Adecco Medical & Science in Frisco, TX, is a contract role focused on providing clinical support in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in accordance with clinical, OSHA and infection control standards
• Interpret and carry out provider orders
• Assist the physician and/or associate practitioner with procedures and treatments
• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs (including weight, blood pressure, pulse and temperature) and document in patients' charts
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance and chief complaint
• Give instructions to patients as instructed by the physician or associate practitioner
• Document all patient-related communication and interventions in patients' EMR

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or willing to obtain within 180 days
• Active CPR / BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Immunizations/vaccinations required: MMR, TB Screening, Varicella, Hep B, Flu shot, Tdap, Covid 19 vaccination
