Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, and EKGs.
- Maintain a smooth patient flow and anticipate patient needs.
- Provide care and support to patients during their visits.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program or a minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
Nice-to-haves
- One year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
- Knowledge of third-party payors preferred.
