About the position
As a Medical Assistant at ALTA PAIN PHYSICIANS, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the medical office. This position involves assisting doctors and patients with various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all activities.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Check with patients and type up patient messages
- Assist during medical examinations
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Assist during medical injections
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Spanish language proficiency
- Experience in medical administrative support
- Ability to review documentation
- Strong communication skills
- Time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
