About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team, focusing on providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting for Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine. The role requires a strong understanding of phlebotomy and medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic life support techniques as needed.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Perform phlebotomy and draw injections for in-office procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Understand and apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology in patient interactions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
