About the position
The Medical Biller/Coder position is a full-time role within a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine team in San Antonio, TX. The role requires an enthusiastic and proficient individual who possesses excellent customer service skills, is detail-oriented, and can multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in medical billing and coding, with a preference for those with OB and/or MFM experience.
Responsibilities
- Process medical billing and coding for Maternal Fetal Medicine services.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in billing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and documentation related to billing.
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience as a medical biller and/or coder.
- Proficiency in multitasking and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Experience in OB and/or MFM is preferred.
