About the position

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team in Palmetto Bay, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in medical billing, a strong understanding of insurance claims, and be bilingual in both English and Spanish. This role focuses on providing excellent billing services in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and submit insurance claims
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain patient billing records and ensure accuracy of all charges
• Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients regarding billing inquiries
• Work with coding staff to ensure proper coding of services rendered
• Provide support to the office team as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing
• Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and insurance verification processes
• Bilingual - Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
