About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, coding, and collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all billing processes.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding
- Submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and compliance requirements
- Complete and submit credentialing applications
Requirements
- Proficiency in ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG coding systems
- Experience in medical billing and collections
- Knowledge of medical office procedures
- Familiarity with medical records and terminology
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
