About the position
Asher College is seeking a Medical Billing and Coding Instructor for its Sacramento campus. Responsibilities
- Deliver effective lectures and lead classes in medical billing and coding.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students in a blended learning environment.
- Maintain a flexible schedule that includes some evening and Saturday work.
- Support students in their learning and ensure their success in the program.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Medical Coding and Billing.
- Industry certification; Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Effective communication skills to engage with individuals and groups.
- Technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
- Commitment to the success of the students and the college.
Nice-to-haves
- Teaching or training experience is a plus.
