About the position
VibrantCare Rehabilitation is looking for a detail-oriented Medicare Billing Specialist to join our Sugar Land Medical Billing Office. This full-time position offers an opportunity for individuals with Medicare billing experience to advance their careers in a physical therapy medical billing environment. The role is focused on Medicare billing and collections, with a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and no night or weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform Medicare billing and collections tasks
- Verify patient insurance information and eligibility
- Prepare and submit claims to Medicare
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues
- Maintain accurate records of billing transactions
- Assist with patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate billing practices
Requirements
- Experience in Medicare billing
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of medical billing software
