About the position

Responsibilities
- Collect, post, and manage account payments from medical billing.
- Submit claims and follow up with insurance companies and patients to ensure appropriate collection of medical claims.
- Attend and participate in various Medicaid/Medicare/Insurance regulations and guidelines update workshops and meetings.
- Handle cash in a medical office/healthcare setting, including posting charges, payments, and adjustments.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Medical Billing required.
- Experience in Medical Coding is a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with medical software.
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT Codes, and ICD-9.
- CPC certification.
