About the position

This part-time position involves maintaining accurate financial records for three separate medical practices, producing monthly reconciliation summaries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Prepare journal entries to reflect financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with corporate accounting tasks, including preparing financial reports.
• Maintain accounts payable by managing vendor invoices and payments.
• Utilize accounting software for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and regulations.
• Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
