About the position

The Patient Support Associate role at TEKsystems involves providing essential support to patients navigating the complexities of accessing their medications. This position emphasizes compassionate communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient management of patient records and timely handling of prescriptions and cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient cases from initiation to closure, including benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
• Handle denial appeals and determine financial qualifications for assistance programs.
• Assist patients and stakeholders through resolution via email and calls, utilizing critical thinking and industry knowledge.
• Ensure accuracy in medical records and program requirements while delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Requirements

• 1+ years of healthcare-related experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Prior authorization experience preferred.
