About the position

The Medical Center Manager is responsible for the successful management and operation of medical practices, ensuring that all specialty disciplines and clinic sites function effectively. This role focuses on providing necessary resources to medical specialists, meeting patient needs, and achieving financial objectives. The manager will lead a dedicated team to deliver quality healthcare while fostering a positive patient experience and maintaining the Sanitas culture.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve NPS (Net Promoter Score) goals and ensure patient satisfaction during visits.
  • Deescalate potential patient complaints and reduce the complaints ratio per 500 visits.
  • Ensure appointment availability per provider and center meets established goals.
  • Lead daily huddles with clinical and operational staff to ensure pre-visit planning is completed.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and operational excellence during visits across all services (PCP, UC, LAB, DI).
  • Manage telephone encounters and ensure they are addressed within 24 hours.
  • Ensure required staffing for Clinical Ops positions based on budget needs and monitor overtime.
  • Promote a healthy work environment with open communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure facility maintenance and cleanliness, addressing equipment issues as needed.
  • Generate and analyze reports to guarantee patient and staff satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Computer knowledge required (Word, Excel, Internet).
  • Customer service skills and training are essential.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and payroll systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Creole is preferred.
