About the position

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe transportation of goods and documents between locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and a commitment to ensuring that deliveries are made accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of packages to prevent damage.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary paperwork or documentation.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of items as required.

Requirements

• Experience as a van driver with a valid driver's license; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience as a van driver (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience in heavy lifting (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience in driving (Preferred)
