About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist with scheduling appointments, inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for all clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Call patients to schedule new patient appointments.
• Send messages to patients via EMR to schedule an appointment.
• Call patients to remind them about CPAP supplies renewal.
• Send messages to staff on CPAP questions and supplies when needed.
• Call patients regarding CPAP compliance when needed.
• Analyze patient needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry in the EMR.
• Utilize medical terminology when assisting customers in a medical office setting.
• Provide information about products and services while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette to create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize with customers' needs.
• Experience in data entry with attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, especially for those working in medical office environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a call center for at least 2 years (Preferred).
• Customer service experience for at least 2 years (Preferred).
