Responsibilities

• Convert paper-based medical and billing records to an electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Handle backlogged medical records and enter them into the system
• Employ strong computer skills to work independently within Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Assist in scanning, filing, and shredding of historical documents
• Maintain an organized and efficient document management system
• Oversee the filing and organization of paper documents
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data entry tasks
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in the medical records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure all records are updated and accessible
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the data.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and their usage.
• Experience in scanning documents and converting them into digital formats.
• Knowledge of filing systems, organizing documents in a structured manner for ease of access.

• Proven ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
