About the position

We are in search of a Medical Data Entry Clerk based in Racine, Wisconsin, United States. The selected candidate will be tasked with accurately entering patient data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and other electronic health record (EHR) systems. They will manage and maintain patient records in IBM AS/400 and McKesson systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. The role also involves utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, which is essential for enhancing operational efficiency within the healthcare setting. In addition to data entry, the Medical Data Entry Clerk will perform billing functions and claim administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. Delivering high-quality customer service is paramount, as the clerk will address and resolve patient inquiries promptly and professionally. The role requires executing data entry tasks with speed and accuracy to ensure efficient and timely processing of information, as well as preparing and managing documentation to ensure all necessary forms and records are complete and accurate. Collaboration with other team members is essential to ensure smooth and efficient data processes. The clerk will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary, staying updated with changes in data entry and other relevant industry trends to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
