About The Position

The Medical Delivery Technician at Alicks Home Medical Equipment Inc. is responsible for the delivery and setup of home medical equipment (HME) and supplies in customer homes and facilities. This role emphasizes customer service, ensuring that clients understand how to use and maintain their equipment while maintaining professional and courteous interactions. The position also involves inventory management and documentation related to deliveries and customer interactions.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 180 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up home medical equipment (HME) in customer homes and facilities.
• Perform minor cleaning of equipment and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Manage inventory, including lot number tracking and product recalls.
• Maintain delivery records and ensure all equipment and supplies are secured for safe transport.
• Greet customers courteously and maintain good customer relations.
• Demonstrate and explain HME to customers, ensuring they understand how to use and maintain the equipment.
• Verify customer insurance information as required.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns prior to leaving the customer's home.
