About the position

The Associate Territory Account Manager is a pivotal role within Tactile Medical, responsible for the sales and education of medical devices specifically designed for Lymphedema patients. This position requires a proactive approach to consultative sales, where the individual will engage with healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to promote the Flexitouch System and other related products. The role involves conducting full-cycle sales activities, which encompass prospecting, scheduling meetings, delivering product demonstrations, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. In addition to sales responsibilities, the Associate Territory Account Manager will provide in-home demonstrations of the medical devices to patients, ensuring they understand how to use the products effectively. This position also involves assisting the Territory Account Manager in developing and executing sales strategies aimed at exceeding sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Furthermore, the role includes providing customer support through training and education on disease states, treatment protocols, and reimbursement requirements, all while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA. The Associate Territory Account Manager will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the company’s mission to improve the quality of life for patients suffering from Lymphedema.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts full-cycle consultative sales including prospecting, scheduling meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up.
  • Works with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to increase awareness and educate on the Flexitouch System and other products.
  • Provides in-home product demonstrations for patients and assists them with questions.
  • Assists the Territory Account Manager with sales strategies and execution to surpass sales goals.
  • Provides customer support through training and education in disease state, treatment protocols, and reimbursement requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined education and work experience (4 years).
  • 1+ years of outside sales/inside sales experience OR 2+ years of patient-facing clinical experience OR 1+ years of Tactile Medical patient-facing or sales support work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong sales closing experience and mentality, including persuasiveness, assertiveness, and persistence.
  • Resourceful and a self-starter.
  • Ability to travel/drive within the territory and outside for conferences and training.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

  • Outside sales experience with in-person product demonstrations.
  • Clinical experience working directly with lymphedema patients such as a Nurse, CLT, PTA, PT, OT, OTA, etc.
  • Demonstrated success interacting with Tactile Medical patients, customers, and clinicians.
