About the position

The Medical Device Sales - Territory Manager position at PENTAX Medical focuses on increasing sales and market share within a designated territory. The role involves building a robust equipment pipeline, educating end-users on product functionality, and developing relationships with key decision-makers in the medical field. The position is integral to driving service contract sales and uncovering opportunities in outpatient surgery centers, all while staying updated on clinical and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales and market-share in assigned geography.
  • Build territory Equipment Pipeline to have a total Pipeline of 5x one's assigned annual sales quota.
  • Install new equipment and educate end-users in all aspects of the functioning, reprocessing, and handling of endoscopes.
  • Develop relationships with all key purchasing decision-makers such as MD, Lab Managers, Administration, Bio-med and purchasing.
  • Develop innovative business proposals based upon customer's needs and goals analysis.
  • Sell Service contracts with every equipment proposal. Drive service contract attachment to our equipment with every active customer.
  • Uncover all outpatient surgery center opportunities and prospect at each center.
  • Stay current with all clinical, procedural and product knowledge. Take all training courses and 'Paths' as posted in the Showpad Coach.
  • Utilize Showpad for product presentations and to manage customer interactions and the sharing of information.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com, our CRM, daily to input all customer activity, prospecting information and to manage all Opportunities in the Pipeline.
  • Assist other sales representatives with product demos on a regular basis and serve as a resource for them whenever possible.

Requirements

  • Show strong, proven sales background in the Business 2 Business or medical/hospital space.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the medical device industry and familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
  • Located in the Ohio, West Virginia, Western PA region.
