About the position

The Medical Director position is a permanent role located in Houston, TX, focusing on inpatient care within a dual OB hospitalist team setting. The role involves providing emergency care, call coverage, and management of transports, with no clinic responsibilities. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with 12 or 24-hour shifts and rotating weekends, catering to a high volume of annual deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unassigned OBED care.
• Manage call coverage for the hospital.
• Assist with the management of patient transports.

Requirements

• Active Texas medical license.
• Board Certified in OB/GYN.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist experience required.
• More than 5 years out of residency (highly preferred).
