About the position

The Medical Education Specialist at Treace is responsible for overseeing all aspects of medical education programs, from inception to execution. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and an excellent customer experience, particularly in organizing surgeon cadaveric training events and other medical education activities. The specialist will play a key role in aligning events with the company's vision and brand, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute medical education events that align with company vision.
• Ensure all meetings and events are executed to the highest standard.
• Assist with strategic planning and organization of a comprehensive calendar of Medical Education events.
• Execute end-to-end logistics of national, local, and regional events according to plan.
• Research and recommend program site selection; manage a cross-functional team of external vendors.
• Review and manage all event logistics including agendas, banquet orders, and site management.
• Establish, implement, and maintain project management tools for event processes.
• Develop standards and procedures for events, including best practices.
• Manage events budget, evaluate results against goals, and generate learnings for improvement.
• Coordinate within the Medical Education team for program-specific HCP-consultant support.
• Administer Medical Education and customer database information to support marketing research and corporate communication activities.
• Handle financial transactions for event invoices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or sciences.
• Minimum of two years of successful medical education, meeting and events, or marketing experience in a product company.
• Medical device experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with event registration software (Cvent) is strongly preferred.
