Then join us! 99MGMT is seeking a Front Office Receptionist for Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates to support the Dallas and Rockwall (as needed) locations. This position is essential in ensuring that the front office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing a welcoming environment for patients and supporting the medical staff in delivering high-quality care. As a Front Desk Receptionist, your duties will include answering phones, scheduling patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and making patient callbacks. You will be the first point of contact for patients, and your role is crucial in creating a positive experience for them. The position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as you may need to travel between locations. The schedule for this role is Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with no weekends or after-hours work required. In this role, you will greet patients, check them in, and collect sufficient information for billing and claiming purposes. You will also be responsible for answering, screening, and directing phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, notifying medical staff of patients' arrivals, verifying insurance, processing referrals, completing prior authorizations, checking patients out, and collecting patient balances, including co-pays and deductibles. Additionally, you will explain patient payment responsibilities and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • At least one year of experience working in a front desk role in a doctor's office
  • Understanding of insurance coverages (co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • EMR experience also required; E-Clinical Works preferred
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
