Castle Pines, CO
Administrative and Support Services

About the position

WSi Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our urgent care clinic, with locations in Castle Rock and Aurora, Colorado. This role is crucial as you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring that the reception area operates smoothly. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff, and scheduling provider appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and the efficient use of exam and treatment rooms. You will also handle financial transactions, including collecting co-pays and reconciling cash/check payment receipts from the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at the end of each shift. In addition to these responsibilities, you will collect patient identification and necessary information for appointments, retrieve patient files, sequence paperwork, and prepare files for physician examination or treatment. Maintaining a neat and orderly reception area is essential, as is assisting patients with insurance paperwork and billing questions. You will also support ill or distressed patients as needed, which may include arranging transportation. Participation in the medical office emergency routine is required, and you may need to call EMS or assist other staff members in emergencies.
